*Job Summary* We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Game Day Staff to enhance the experience of our guests during sporting events and community gatherings. This role involves engaging with attendees, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a fun and safe environment for all. Ideal candidates are friendly, energetic, and comfortable working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Previous experience working with children, public speaking, or in hospitality is a plus. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating memorable event experiences. *Duties* * Greet guests warmly and assist with directions or inquiries to ensure a positive experience * Engage with attendees, including children, through interactive activities or games when applicable * Manage guest services such as ticket scanning, seating assistance, and crowd control * Ensure game night script is written for each game and includes all pertinent information for night sponsors, in game activations, etc * Provide information about event schedules, facilities, and amenities through clear public speaking * Enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all guests * Assist in setting up, implementing, and breaking down event areas before and after games or activities * Maintain cleanliness of the venue including trash removal and restocking supplies as needed *Requirements* * Prior experience working with children or in customer service, hospitality, or food service environments is preferred * Strong public speaking skills and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse audiences * Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with varying crowd sizes * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during game days or special events as needed * Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies * Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and enthusiasm for creating enjoyable guest experiences * This position is a part of the Canada Youth Summer Employment Program therefore requirements implemented by the program must be met Job Type: Seasonal Contract length: 4 months Pay: $15.35-$16.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 per week Work Location: In person- Location Swift Current, SK
