Looking for a *detail orientated*, team player for purchasing materials for manufacturing. Inventory management of raw materials and finished goods is also a key part of this occupation. Processing of customer job orders. Knowledge of metals & plastics (raw materials) an asset. Work environment is dusty, noisy & sometimes has odors. Must adhere to specific ISO 2001:2015 compliance. Other duties will involve filing (paper-based & digital), ISO compliance, answering phones, following up with vendors on material / supply deliveries, coordinating pickups & deliveries with our driver / other company. Estimating shipping costs on deliveries outside of HRM. Must be proficient in email (Outlook), web browsers, & Word / Excel. Our specific manufacturing program (JobBoss2) will include training. Please note: Must have own transportation as there is no public transit in the area of the facility.
