Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Cold/refrigerated. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Welding experience. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Service attachments and working tools. Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of real estate infrastructures including machinery, equipment and electrical and mechanical systems. Equipment and machinery experience: Hydraulic system. Area of specialization: Machinery or equipment repair. Engine repair. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Handling heavy loads. Sound discrimination. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
