Accounting Technician Location: Saint John, New Brunswick Salary: $45,000 ? $55,000 annually Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Non-seasonal) Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified Accounting Associate to perform bookkeeping and accounting support functions, with a primary focus on accounts receivable and collections. The successful candidate will maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, and support reporting and closing procedures. Main Duties: * Maintain financial records and balance accounts using bookkeeping systems * Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts * Manage accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking * Perform collections activities and follow up on outstanding accounts * Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and sub-ledgers * Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures * Prepare financial reports as required Requirements: * College diploma in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience) * Minimum 2 years of relevant experience * Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) * Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Benefits: * Health, dental, and prescription coverage * Paid vacation * On-site parking * Casual dress This is a TEER 2 position NOC 12200 and Canada Homes is a Participant in the Atlantic Immigration Program.
