*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair, electrical systems, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and related equipment, ensuring optimal performance for our customers. Experience with welding, schematics, and automotive repair is highly valued. The technician will also provide excellent customer service and support sales efforts by offering technical advice and solutions. *Responsibilities* * Diagnose and repair small engines, including lawnmowers, generators, and other outdoor power equipment * Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, and part replacements * Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs * Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for accurate troubleshooting * Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency * Handle heavy lifting of equipment parts and machinery as required * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs *Experience* * Proven mechanic experience with small engines or automotive repair preferred * Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical components * Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus * Experience working with Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy machinery is advantageous * Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately * Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair techniques Join our team today if you are ready to take on the challenges of being a Small Engine Technician in a dynamic work environment!
