Silver Scripts in Ottawa is looking for a responsive, enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our dynamic operations team! _*Must possess a positive team spirit!*_ *Responsibilities Include:* * Follows all provincial and federal laws, standards and regulations which govern the practice of pharmacy at all time * Work with all members of the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately and safely * Check prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness; communicating concerns to prescriber * Maintain accurate, organized and complete resident health records ensuring appropriate documentation of health information. * Participates in ongoing continuing education, remaining current in pharmaceutical, medical and professional licensing information * Effective organization and time management skills * Must be willing to be included in an after-hours on-call rotation *Qualifications/Experience:* · *Registration and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists* · Ability to establish strong partnerships with other members of the health care team · Knowledge of Kroll Windows and experience with eMAR an asset We thank you for your interest, however only select applicants will be contacted regarding the position.
