Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work setting: Food service establishment. Tasks: Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food. Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures. Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation . Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards. Address customers' complaints or concerns. Prepare and submit reports. Establish work schedules. Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory. Manage staff and assign duties. Supervise food service operations. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Personal suitability: Flexibility. Team player. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
