Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Estimate costs and materials. Supervision: 1 to 2 people. Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Personal suitability: Team player. Employment terms options: Shift.
