Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Chicken farming. Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Hay farming. Outdoors. Grain, oil and forage crop. Livestock. Work setting: Staff accommodation provided. Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Clear fields of wood and stones. Develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals. Disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses. Greenhouse cleaning. Handling animals. Level earth to fine grade specifications. Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes. Monitoring animal health. Perform animal grooming activities . Perform livestock feeding. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Track and report on current feed inventory . Weaning. Weeding. Fertilize and spray crops. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Perform general farm duties. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods.
