This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills, connect with diverse clients, and be part of a lively, supportive community dedicated to beauty excellence. *Duties* * Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, blowouts, coloring, and special occasion styles tailored to each client?s preferences. * Deliver top-tier customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert recommendations. * Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in compliance with health and safety standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. * Upsell retail hair care products and styling tools to enhance client satisfaction and boost sales. * Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments efficiently. * Educate clients on proper hair care routines and product usage to foster ongoing relationships. * Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and industry best practices through continuous learning. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in hair styling, coloring, and cutting techniques with a strong portfolio of work. * Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members. * Demonstrated commitment to sanitation standards and maintaining a hygienic workspace. * Ability to upsell products confidently while prioritizing client needs. * Strong organizational skills for managing appointments at the front desk and maintaining a smooth workflow. * Passion for customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a positive salon atmosphere. * Retail sales experience is a plus, along with familiarity using point-of-sale systems.
