This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your talent, build lasting relationships, and grow your professional portfolio in a lively, supportive environment. *Responsibilities* * Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles tailored to each client?s preferences. * Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options. * Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. * Upsell retail hair care products and treatments that complement clients? styles while enhancing their overall experience. * Manage front desk duties such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and processing payments efficiently. * Communicate clearly with clients about their desired looks, hair care routines, and aftercare instructions to ensure satisfaction. * Keep detailed records of services provided and client preferences for future visits. *Skills* * Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse clients. * Expertise in various hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, perming, and styling. * Knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold health standards within the salon environment. * Ability to effectively upsell products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. * Excellent communication skills to clearly understand client needs and explain styling options confidently. * Experience in retail sales within a salon or beauty setting is preferred. * Competence in managing front desk operations such as scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and handling payments efficiently.
